10/07/2009 The Midnight Walk
 
It’s now less than a month to go to the Midnight Walk in aid of St Luke’s Hospice and the seven-strong GillAkaster team are hard in training – with assistance from McCaulays Health Club.
Tricia Aire, Catherine Bailey, Emma Blunden, Debbie Hodgins, Joanne Horrell, Claire Symonds and GA partner Michelle Grove have all been regularly striding out as Team GA around Plymouth and along the city’s famous seafront on Tuesday and Thursday lunch times in preparation for the 13.1 mile charity walk on Saturday August 1.
Thankfully the weather has been fine in recent weeks but when it has not or the girls have needed to put in some extra work at the gym, they have been able to rely on the complimentary courtesy of McCaulays Health Club at 23 The Cresent – just a short walk away from GA’s Lockyer Street HQ.
This year’s Midnight Walk starts and finishes at Plymouth Argyle’s Home Park and once again GA partner Philip Oke will be among the marshalling team.
