Specialising solely in Employment, Jackie joined Gill Akaster in 2004 completing her training as a Solicitor with the firm.

As well as handling Tribunal cases for both employers and employees, Jackie works closely with the Commercial Department providing advice in a range of situations from new business setups to TUPE Transfers. Jackie is an integral member of the firm’s Small Business Service which provides a full Commercial and Employment package to those setting up new business ventures.

Jackie provides ongoing daily support to existing clients giving a range of business advice and services from preparing Contracts of Employment and drafting Staff Handbooks to advising on challenging internal HR matters such as disciplinary, capability and reorganisations.

Jackie is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.

Jackie has recently been appointed as an Associate of Gill Akaster LLP.
