James Peterson joined the Litigation Team as an Assistant Solicitor in January 2010 having been with Gill Akaster since 2006.  He graduated with a Law Degree (LLB) from Plymouth University in 2004 and went on to study his LPC at Exeter University in 2006.

James deals with all aspects of individual and commercial litigation.  He highly recommends and promotes the Dispute Assessment and Risk Evaluation (‘DARE’) service that Gill Akaster offer.  This allows clients to obtain advice on the strengths and weaknesses of their case, assess all the options open to them and be informed of the likely cost and time involved with each option.  This service is available for a one-off fixed fee that is agreed with the client in advance.
