John is a solicitor in the Wills, Trusts and Taxes department. 

John studied Law with French at Cardiff University which included a year studying law in Rennes, Brittany. He obtained his Diploma in Legal Practice from the Bristol Institute of Legal Practice. 

John specialises in contentious probate matters, advising on trust and estate disputes and is an Associate member of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS). 

John advises on estate planning including tax matters and the preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney and deals with the administration of estates and trusts. John has a particular interest in Court of Protection matters relating to issues of mental capacity.
