05/05/2010 - David Stone joins Gill Akaster LLP
 

Plymouth law firm Gill Akaster has expanded its already strong commercial property team with the appointment of David Stone as a partner.
 
David joins from Foot Anstey having previously worked in the commercial property department of Bond Pearce for over 10 years.
 
David regularly advises on all aspects of commercial property, in particular landlord and tenant transactions, acquisitions and disposals with particular expertise in the retail sector.

Whilst at Bond Pearce this included the site acquisition and pre-lets for Drake Circus Shopping Centre and more recently at Foot Anstey, the disposal to the Royal Yachting Association of its multipurpose facility at Weymouth and Portland providing a base for the British sailing team in the lead up to the 2012 Olympic sailing events.
 
David said ''I am very excited to be joining a firm of Gill Akaster's standing and tradition in the City which shares my commitment to Plymouth and the South West''.
